Kerry had a happy childhood, growing up in the small
town of Latimer Iowa, within a blended family.
He was on his high school basketball team and never
wanted for friends, most of whom fondly called him "Chicken Legs".
One of his happiest memories as a young adult was
traveling the country as part of a group selling
magazine subscriptions. He had many adventures in all of
the cities he visited!
Kerry lost his hearing in his 20's but he never let that
get in his way nor considered it a disability.
He moved to Phoenix with his parents in the early
1960's, where he met his beloved wife Mary, who
preceeded him in death in 1995.
Kerry and Mary won many trophies in bowling competitions
and Kerry enjoyed fishing and hunting and is most
remembered for his kindness, caring and sense of humor.
